Northlight Theatre’s world premiere of STELLA & LOU features four-time Emmy winner Rhea Perlman and Steppenwolf Theatre ensemble member Francis Guinan as “Stella” and “Lou” – an intimate exploration of friendship, forgiveness, and the longing for companionship that grows with the passage of time. Stella & Lou began as a screenplay written by Jeff Award-winning playwright Bruce Graham about twenty-five years ago, entitled Riley’s Last Request. Although Rhea and Fran had not met prior to this production, they have an undeniable bond that is evident both on and off the stage.
