I had the pleasure of speaking with Harley Medcalf, Producer of the Broadway in Chicago production BURN THE FLOOR, which opens at the Bank of America Theatre on February 1, 2011.  Harley founded Burn The Floor in 1999, which is a Latin and Ballroom dance spectacular that has thrilled audiences in more than 30 countries.  Harley explained that the idea behind this show came to him while at a birthday party for Sir Elton John, and why he feels so passionately about dance theater.
