Rob Roth was nominated for a Tony Award for his direction of the original Broadway production of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST in 1994. The original creators of this Broadway production have come together for this new touring production opening at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. We talked about his opportunity to re-visit this show 15 years later, and how this show has grown and been re-invented for this new tour. He says that the story - of looking past the exterior of someone, to their interior, is a universal theme that people respond to.
