Elise Santora (In The Heights)

IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of four 2008 Tony Awards and the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album. I met with Elise at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. She starred as “Abuela Claudia” on Broadway, and reprises her role in the first national tour. We talked about her opening night standing ovation and the inspiration for her role as the neighborhood matriarch.
