Quentin starred as Coalhouse Walker, Jr. in the critically acclaimed production of RAGTIME at Drury Lane Oakbrook. Quentin came straight from the Broadway production, which received seven 2010 Tony Award nominations. Based on E. L. Doctorow’s novel, the musical intertwines the story of three families, dealing with such issues as wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair. I spoke with Quentin at Drury Lane, as we discussed how the part of Coalhouse has evolved since he first played this role.
