Ross Lehman (Stage Kiss)

What happens on stage may not stay on stage when Sarah Ruhl returns to Goodman Theatre with the world premiere of her romantic fantasy, STAGE KISS. This is her first Goodman commission -- the result of a two-year development process of workshops and readings, running through June 5 at Goodman Theatre. I was honored to have the opportunity to speak with Ross Lehman, who plays the director staging the revival of a 1930's melodrama. We talked about how Stage Kiss uses "kissing" as a lens to explore what happens when the actors share a kiss on vs. off stage, and how easy it is to lose touch with reality. Ross's performance is priceless, as he is funny and witty and passionate....I guarantee he will make you laugh out loud!
